Niall Fogarty from our wine merchant Vintage Roots will be on hand to give his expert view on Organic wine production and discuss tasting notes on all the wines we are showcasing.
We will be open from 9.30am – 4.00pm this bank holiday Monday. Fresh bread,Pastries and all your usual goodies available.
Weekend hours remain as normal. We will have reduced hours on Monday and Tuesday, opening at the slightly later time of 9am and closing earlier at 4pm. Normal service is resumed on Wednesday.

Last Sunday we helped stage the launch of local author, Sita Brahmachari’s new book ‘Jasmine Skies’. The store was transformed into a Kolkata Sari shop with colours, sounds, tastes and smells to rival the real thing. Happy New Year. We hope you all had a tremendous Christmas and New Year – and that the return to work hasn’t come as too much of a shock. Everything has returned to normal at Owen’s after the frantic festive period, opening hours are as they were and our meat counter – which has looked incredibly sorry for itself since Christmas – is now fully stocked.
